Silverstone Classic 2013
28 July — 2013

The highlight of any classic car owners year are two events. Goodwood, and the Silverstone Classic. I’m ashamed to say I’ve never been to the Goodwood Festival, and I haven’t been to the Silverstone Classic for many years. However, on Saturday I got given some unwanted tickets so I couldn’t exactly turn them down.

All I can say is… wow. What a fantastic show. I turned up and started off by looking around the massive Porsche display, in celebration of 50 years of the 911.
As I did, the Astons did a lap to mark their centenary and Spitfires flew over head. Beautiful!

In summary, its a fantastic day out and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys cars. That sounds very cliche but honestly, it was brilliant.
